Chronicles Of Ahsoka-Chapter 2

"Enjoy your drinks guys" she said as she left the table balancing an empty tray in her hand.

She knew they were checking her out, she was pretty used to it, considering her waitressing
outfit. But she didn't mind wearing it, Ahsoka had always liked having more revealing
clothes then most normal people.

After placing the tray on the counter, Kevin stands up from behind the bar, holding a bottle
of some glowing drink. "Hey Sokie" he said while pouring some of the drink into a small
shot glass.

"Hey Kevie" she said as he loaded her tray with drinks.

After her fight with that man, Ahsoka met Kevin and offered her a job at his bar and a place
to stay, and over the following two years, they had fallen in love and now lived together.

As she lifts the tray, Kevin gently placed his hand ontop hers. Knowing that gesture, Ahsoka
leans in and kisses him softly on the lips and pulls back, but Kevin didn't let go of her
hand.

"What is it?" she asked

"What are you doing for the next Forty years?"he asked while forming a half grin on the
right side of his face.

"Umm, living i hope."

"Well,  what would you think if i asked you to marry me?"

"I..-" she said as her sentence was cut short when Kevin pulls a small box out of his pocket
and opens it, showing her a ring with a shinning blue stone in the center.

"Kevin..I..." she said while trying to hold back tears. "Yes."

Kevin starts hopping up and down in excitement, but he quickly controls himself after people
started to stare. With that, Ahsoka picks the tray up to bring to the people across the
room.

Mrs. Soka Vinstar she thought as her cheeks blushed a bright red.



After closing the bar that night, Kevin and Ahsoka retired to their apartment above the
the bar. Kevin was on the couch counting the credits they made and paying bills at once,
while Ahsoka was in the bathroom, practicing in the mirror telling her friends that she and
Kevin were engaged.

She jumped up in shock as Kevin came up and surprised her.

"Sorry" he apologized.

"It's okay" she said as she turned back to face the mirror.

She was looking down at the ring as Kevin came up behind her and folded his arms around her
waist and rest his head on her right shoulder. Then layed his hands ontop of hers, making her
look up and the two stare at their reflections.

"I could get used to this" he said softly before leaning into her ear. "How about we celebrate?"

"Mmm..you read my mind hun." she said as he started to kiss her neck.

But he stops when a loud siren noise comes from outside and the two run over to the closest
window.

Peering through the curtains, squads of Stormtroopers march through the streets, some going
into peoples houses, while the rest guard something.

"What the hell are they doing here?" he said

"I dont know, but im going to find out." she said starting to walk to the door leading
to the roof.

"No Soka, don't-" he stopped as two Stormtroopers approached the bars locked entrance.

He cursed something under his breath that Ahsoka could hear. he caught up to her and grabbed
her should as she was reaching for the cord that brings the stairs down to get to the roof.

"Listen, i'll deal with the guys downstairs, just promise you'll be here when i get back"

"Sure..i'll stay right here" she said as she kissed him on the cheek "Then we can celebrate"
she whispered in his ear.

Shivers went through his whole body, only the sound of the stormies beating at the door
to knock him out of it. He runs downstairs at full speed before they broke down the door.

But now Ahsoka was fighting against keeping her promise to her fiance, or breaking it to
quench her curiosity.

Just a peek. she thought as she pulled down the stairs.

After breaking off a loose piece of wood, she reaches in and takes her lightsaber out of
the hole, then puts the wood back in place and continues up the stairs.



Damn their fast.

The Imperials had cleared out every house and building in just minutes, though Ahsoka had
yet seen the two troopers in the bar leave. She kept her eye on who she assumed was the
captain of the squad, due to the blue and gray stripes on his armor.

After saying something she could not hear into a comnlink, he and the troopers stop and
raise their guns to their sides in normal Imperial fashion, when a higher authority approaches.

Ahsoka looks down the street where their facing and see's the large black figure of Darth
Vader walking towards the troopers with a squad of his own behind him. After reaching them,
the captain gave a quick bow and informed Vader that they searched every house and there was
no sign of some senator.

"Very well" he said "We will investigate the north sector, Take the south."

"Yes sir, Lord Vader" he said with another bow

Now she was really curious, so Ahsoka started leaping from roof top-to-roof top, being as
quiet as she possibly could.



They stopped about a mile away from the bar. Vader had ordered every trooper to search the buildings
and homes as he stood outside, searching for anyone who might try to escape.

Troopers started piling out within minutes, group after group until they all formed a
circle around Vader. As they informed him of what they found, Ahsoka notices that each trooper
has a large smoke grenade hanging from their belts.

Reaching out with The Force, Ahsoka pulls the pins out and one-by-one, they grenades go
off, creating clouds of smoke. Some tried to get their grenades off their belts, but with
all the smoke, they couldnt even find their hands infront of their faces.

With lightsaber in hand, Ahsoka leaps down into the cloud of smoke and starts killing troopers,
keeping her lightsaber on only for as long as she needed.

As some of the smoke started to clear, she could see the dark figure of Vader, holding what
she assumed, was his lightsaber.

Taking advantage of the moment, Ahsoka launches herself at him, aiming for the head. But
Vader blocks the stab before it can bring any harm. Ahsoka stares into the black eye guards, almost able to make out a pair of human eyes beneath.

"Ahsoka?" he said questionably

Taken back by this, Ahsoka is unable to block the telekinetic blast Vader hit her with, sending
her flying back. Trying to use the smoke to her advantage, she disengages her lightsaber
and tries to hide.

But Vader blows the storm away with the force, revealing her position. Re-Igniting her
saber, Ahsoka keeps it infront of her and tip pointed at him.

The two stare down the other, then Ahsoka charges at him with blade raised and slashes at
Vader with all she had.

But he blocked every blow with ease. Her skills had diminished over the years, she found
she never had time to get away and practice, what with her job at the bar and Kevin...

Kevin.. she thought. She hadn't told him of her past, she'd hoped he would make the connection
himself...but he wasn't that bright. So it would be something she would take to the grave.

Bad choice of words.

Their blades clashed mid-sequence, causing a shower of sparks to fall from the blades.

"This is futile" he said "Your just another dead Jedi, only through anger will you survive
this."

"Never!" she screamed out as she broke the clash and resumed her attack. Vader stopped her
assault with yet another clash.

"You can't beat me, Snips" he said over the sound of their sabers.

"What?.." she said barely in a whisper

She broke the clash and leaped back, well out of saber range.

You can't beat me Snips. How did he know that name?!

...Wait..NO!

Against her own instincts, Ahsoka flings herself at him and slashed with all her might.

"You killed Anakin!!" she screamed out over the sound of their weapons "Monster!"

"No! I am Anakin Skywalker!"

"What-" she said before getting cut off by an overhand strike that she barely rolled out of
the of.

"Search your heart Ahsoka, you know it is true" he said as he lifted up a trashcan with the
force and threw it at Ahsoka.

The force of the trash can knocked the air right out of her, and sent her flying back and
crumple to the ground in a daze.

Her vision started to clear and saw Vader walking towards her, saber in hand-

But stops when Kevin jumps onto his back and starts shaking him around.

"Soka!" he shouted "Run! Get awa-" he was cut off as Vader plunged his saber into his own
shoulder and through Kevins chest.

Both men screamed out from the pain, but Ahsoka couldn't tell which was worse. Reaching out,
Ahsoka pulls her fallen saber back to her hand.

Kevins body slowly went limp and fell off Vader's back, and with a simple gesture, Vader
slides the body to the side of the street and in an alley. Vader whips around and-

Ahsoka was gone.


Ahsoka couldn't think strait as she ran as fast as she could through the streets.

Kevin.. The man who had taken her in, the man who she fell in love with, was dead! And killed
by the man who was her Jedi Master no less!!

Just keep running she thought, it was all she could do for now.

But Vader would pay for this...one way, or another.
